Barking Gecko Travel is a Chiang Mai based tour and trekking company serving the north of Thailand, with a primary focus on Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and Mae Hong Song. Barking Gecko was established in 2008 and is officially licensed by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT). Our mission is to provide genuinely ethical and eco friendly experience by leading our guests away from the usual tourist routes in favour of ‘hidden gems’ such as un spoilt landscapes, unusual attractions, and bringing genuine interaction with the local people and their fascinating lifestyles.
